It had been awhile since I went for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
It's Holy Week and this year, I finally went for it.
Queued for 1 hour +! But it was worth it, definitely.
Before God, I'm just so vulnerable. Transparent.
He always makes me realise what I truly felt inside,
beyond all the masks I wear in daily life..
and the walls that I had built around my weak heart.
The feelings I locked deep down in the vaults of my heart burst opened.
Tears just whelmed up as I confessed my sins.
Honestly, I didn't expect it to be such an emotional encounter.
But praise the Lord, I could feel the load lighten off my shoulders, even if it's just that bit.
Thank you God, for forgiving me.
Oh my God, I am truly sorry for having sinned against You.
Because You are so good and with Your help, I will not sin again.
I prayed before the groto of Mama Mary, I cried.
They said crying is a sign of healing.
So tonight I healed, not in totality but at least slightly.
Slowly and with God's grace, I will learn to forgive you.
